Lund Theatre Volunteer Night
Learn what is involved in being a Lund volunteer on Tuesday, May 21st from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Lund Theatre. We will explain each position and how to do it. There is no commitment, just come and check it out. The Lund Theatre needs three volunteers each night, one to sell tickets and two to sell concessions. You need to be high school age or older to volunteer, and volunteers must be at the theater from 7:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. on show nights. You can choose a day or a weekend, whichever works best for you. The Lund is up and running and is having great turnouts, so come join the fun!

“Dig Into Reading” Summer Reading Program
“Dig Into Reading” is the theme of the Viborg Public Library’s 2013 Summer Reading Program. The program is open to ages preschool through 6th grade and is held every Wednesday for six weeks starting May 29th and going through July 3rd. There will be programs, prizes, and special events! Registration begins on May 15th. For more information call the Library at (605) 326-5481 or stop in and we will be glad to get the information you need. All programs are free of charge.

Neighbor 2 Neighbor Run/Walk
The Irene Neighbor 2 Neighbor organization will be hosting a 5K Run or 1 Mile Run/Walk and Bake Sale on May 18th starting at 10 a.m. at the Irene track. All proceeds will go towards the Zavier Larsen Memorial Fund set up at Merchants State Bank in Irene. Registration fee is $20/5K and $15/1 mile walk. Please join us in support of Eric and Vicki Larsen.

11th Annual Swan Lake Marathon
Swan Lake Christian Camp will be hosting it’s 11th Annual Swan Lake Marathon on Sunday, June 9th. This event is a fundraiser for the camper scholarship program. There will be full and half marathons, as well as a 5.3 mile race. Pioneer Memorial Foundation’s Annual Golf Event
